Events for 2019

The Belgian Forum on Invasive Species (BFIS) and the RAPID Life Project (Reducing and Preventing IAS Dispersal) are co-organising an event in Brussels on 18/12/2019 to facilitate the exchange of information on IAS prevention and management between stakeholders in different European countries.

The aim of the festival is to strengthen understanding of the role of citizen engagement across the policy cycle.

During the Conference advances on marine research applying the latest scientific tools to better understand, monitor and protect a fast-changing, highly impacted Mediterranean Sea will be presented and discussed.

For the first time Latin America will host a World Congress of the IUFRO (International Union of Forest Research Organizations).
