Practices and perceptions on IAS
The survey for local managers of invasive alien species (IAS) entitled "The management of invasive alien species: practices and perceptions" has been designed within the framework of the international research project AlienScenarios.
Participants involved in IAS management at a local or regional level in Europe are welcome to answer this survey. Collected answers will help to understand what trends for IAS have emerged in Europe over the last few years by providing local evidence on IAS management based on personal experiences.
The results of this research will be shared with experts on biological invasions in the European Commission and to the Invasive Species Specialist Group from the SSC (Species Survival Commission) in the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). The aim of this survey is to propose improved guidelines and best practices for local IAS management in Europe.
