Training workshops on prioritization and pest risk analysis for invasive alien plant species
Under the LIFE funded project ‘Mitigating the threat of invasive alien plants to the EU through pest risk analysis to support the Regulation 1143/2014’
Under the LIFE funded project ‘Mitigating the threat of invasive alien plants to the EU through pest risk analysis to support the Regulation 1143/2014’, the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organisation and the NERC Centre for Ecology and Hydrology will conduct two training workshops (http://www.iap-risk.eu/training) on (1) the prioritization of invasive alien plants and (2) pest risk analysis for invasive alien plants.
Training workshop 1: Prioritization of invasive alien plant species incorporating the requirements of the EU Regulation No 1143/2014.
Aim: To provide participants with an understanding of the process of prioritizing invasive alien plants for risk assessment within the framework of the EU Regulation No 1143/2014.
Dates: 14th (starting at 13:00) to the 16th (finishing by 17:00) December, 2016
Venue: EPPO Headquarters (Paris, FR)
Training workshop 2: Pest risk analysis of invasive alien plant species incorporating the requirements of the Regulation (EU) No 1143/2014.
Aim: To provide participants with an understanding of the process of pest risk analysis of invasive alien plants within the framework of the EU Regulation No 1143/2014.
