The first EU technical brochure describes the 66 species currently listed as invasive alien species of Union concern, offering concise and clear summaries of their origin, distribution in the EU, threats posed to native biodiversity, and applicable restrictions and obligations which can help to mitigate their negative impacts. In addition, three other brochures are available on how to identify IAS of Union concern in the field and at customs controls, and one which guides towards the use of CBD categories pathways.
