The EASIN catalogue has been updated to the version 4.2

During the last weeks, a major update was made in the EASIN Catalogue.

 

Specifically, information on the marine alien species has been revised and updated, including taxonomy and nomenclature info, information on status, year and country of first introduction, and pathways.

 

Furthermore, many animal and plant taxa from all kind of habitats have been revised based on present-day taxonomic and nomenclatural aspects, following the online data provided by WORMS and ITIS.
