Invasive Species on Wednesdays! | Week about Invasive Species
After the success of the first three editions (1st Cycle 2021/22, 2nd Cycle 2022/23 and 3rd Cycle 2023/2024), Invasoras on Wednesdays! It is back.
Over the course of nine sessions, the InvECO Network brings together several actors of society who deal with exotic and invasive species in different contexts, promoting the sharing of knowledge and experiences to increase the theme's visibility and recognition by citizens at the national level.
From November 2024 to July 2025, on the third Wednesday of each month, at 9 p.m., the InvECO Network invites all interested parties to a short lecture (ca. 30 min) where topics related to the broad challenges that invasive alien species pose to society, and each presentation is followed by a space for issues and debate of ideas (ca. 30 min).
