LIFE IAP-RISK project on invasive alien plants pest risk analysis to support EU Regulation 1143/2014
The output of the LIFE IAP-RISK Project, funded by the EU Commission DG Environment LIFE, is a scientific paper identifying invasive alien plants for pest risk analysis (PRA) aimed at the prioritization of species to be listed as of Union concern, supporting the implementation of the EU Regulation 1143/2014. The report details the prioritization of 37 alien plants for PRA using a modified version of the EPPO Prioritization Process designed to be compliant with the EU Regulation 1143/2014. Nineteen species were earmarked as having a high priority for a PRA.
