EASIN invites scientists, policymakers, and the general public to share updated scientific information and collaborate in tackling biological invasions in Europe. Your contributions will help enhance our understanding of alien species (AS) and inform effective management strategies.
You can contribute to EASIN project by:
Become a Data Partner: Share your project’s datasets with us and help enrich our knowledge on alien species. If you are a scientist, project, or organization interested in sharing geospatial information on AS in Europe through EASIN, please contact us at JRC-EASIN(at)ec.europa.eu. We will work with you to find the most suitable data sharing solution, depending on the format of your available information (e.g., Excel files, shapefiles, databases, web services).
Share your research: communicate your recently published research or management results on AS, including taxonomy, distribution, measures, best practices, guidelines, etc.. This will help update the EASIN Catalogue, Alien Species Geodatabase and Documentation, while increasing visibility for your work.
Report Invasive Alien species (IAS): use the "Invasive Alien Species in Europe" app to report IAS of Union concern.
Share pictures and citizen science actions: send us pictures of AS and citizen science initiatives. We will use it for communication purposes through on our website, social media and email.
