E. crassipes is present as an invasive species in Italy, see:

in Turkey, the species was reported here:
I. Uremis, A. Uludag, Z. F. Arslan and O. Abaci, A new record for the flora of Turkey: Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms (Pontederiaceae), EPPO Bulletin, Volume 44, Issue 1, pages 83–86, April 2014, DOI: 10.1111/epp.12096, however, the real status of the species in Turkey still unclear
