This species should be deleted from the alien species list. In fact, early Mediterranean records of M. columna (e.g.: see http://www.ciesm.org/atlas/Murchisonellacolumna.html) were then considered misidentifications for a Mediterranean species Murchisonella mediterranea http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=139166 following that article: Peñas A. & Rolán E. (2013) Revision of the genera Murchisonella and Pseudoaclisina (Gastropoda, Heterobranchia, Murchisonellidae). Vita Malacologica 11: 15-64. I'm trying to obtain it as to read it
