Searching the literature I spotted Python molurus bivittatus, indicated as invasive by CABI. Is this taxon the same with Python molurus (included in EASIN)? In case 2 subspecies are recognized we have to refer to the invasive one (bivittatus?). Unless, both are invasive. Some clarification would be much appreciated.

The only record for Europe is relative to P. molurus in the Canary island (see http://www.interreg-bionatura.com/especies/index.php?opt=verDatos# ) however as it seems to be just an occasional record, the species status should be Questionable. No records of P. m. bivittaus exist for Europe (I could find no evidence of the record in DAISIE, which however was labeled as not established)

Python molurus to be retained in EASIN as Questionable.
