This species is included in our catalogue as recorded from France. However, are we sure of that? According to WORMS: http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=148669 its presence in the Atlantic Ocean is inaccurate. See also details regarding the reply to its local presence. Unaccept reason - misidentification of S. laticauda Unaccept Source - Poore, G.C.B. 1996. Species differentiation in Synidotea (Isopoda: Idoteidae) and recognition of introduced marine species: a reply to Chapman and Carlton. Journal of Crustacean Biology 16: 384-394. What should we be doing then? Delete the species from Catalogue? Thanks, Eugenio
