It is reported as such:

◦1964 :: Italy :: [Schmekel, 1965 ]


But near to Schmekel (1965) there should be Schmekel & Portmann (1982) since in 1965 the species has been not reported as Polycerella emertonii, but has been described as a new species from the Gulf of Naples
