It seems that there are no certainties with regards a human induced introduction, so that it should be listed as questionable?

this is an interesting story and a difference in the way we interpret 'baptize' alien species in the Mediterranean and in the North Sea. In the Med we tend to ignore atlantic origin species. In contrast to us, North Sea scientist report as aliens North Atlantic species occurring in their neighbor, when they appear first in their country. Thus, DAISIE reports Micropogonias as alien in the Netherlands. In the WGITMO 2001-2007 report it is also reported as alien in Belgium. In AquaNIS the species is still in the lists. Who will take responsibility to exclude it as range expansion (which I believe is the case?). I think this should be the job of a North Sea expert
