We are glad to inform that the Marine Mediterranean Invasive Alien Species Database (MAMIAS) and the Norwegian Biodiversity Information Centre (NBIC) have joined the EASIN network of data partners. Their spatial data are available through specific filters in the EASIN mapping tool.

MAMIAS is a system developed by RAC/SPA in collaboration of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR). It is a regional system collecting, analysing and disseminating information on alien and invasive species in the Mediterranean region.
Currently indexed records by EASIN: 3229.

NBIC was established by a parliamentary resolution and became operational in 2005. The goal of NBIC is to serve as a national source of information on species and ecosystems in Norway, and to make up-to-date information on biodiversity widely available and easily accessible to the society.
Currently indexed records by EASIN: 2088.
