New Data Partners have joined the network, contributing to updating the knowledge on alien species recorded in Europe, and to the enrichment of the EASIN spatial data, which are made available to users via webservices.

EASIN is glad to announce that the collaboration established with Zoology Academy of Science of Moldova, Icelandic Institute of Natural History, iSEA - Greece, "Ovidius" University of Constanta, and National Biodiversity Data Centre (Ireland) allows sharing new spatial records on alien species in different environments through the currently online Geodatabase version 5.1.

Researchers and organizations willing to share spatial data on alien species occurring in Europe are warmly invited to contribute to EASIN project by joining the network:  further details and contacts can be found here.
