Ana Luisa NUNES (Former member of the team)
Ana Luisa Nunes (Ph.D.) is a biologist from Lisbon, Portugal. She has completed a 5 years degree in Terrestrial Biology and recently a Ph.D. in Ecology.
She has experience in field surveys, sampling and monitoring of terrestrial and freshwater species, with a special focus on herpetofauna. Her research has been mainly focused on biological invasions on freshwater ecosystems, more specifically on the newly established interactions between recently introduced invasive species and native communities.
She has worked as a trainee at the Water Resources Unit of the Institute for Environment and Sustainability (JRC), where she was a member of the scientific team of EASIN.
